Danbury Library Presents 8 Point Mindfulness

The Danbury Public Library is pleased to announce a new adult workshop entitled: 8 Point Mindfulness. The first session will take place on Saturday, March 17th.

This workshop runs through Saturday, May 12th, 2018. Only five spaces remain. This class is expected to fill to capacity. Come join an active, engaged meditation and mindfulness group in downtown Danbury. The Danbury Public Library's on-site café will also be open to grab a coffee or snack.

Jodi L. Weisz, MLIS will be leading this 8-week workshop. Ms. Weisz has previously taught this class, to hundreds of students, as a for-credit course, at the University of California at Berkeley. Students will be introduced to the work of author Eknath Easwaran, the founder of this 8 Point Mindfulness program.

Ms. Weisz, will introduce a new "point" each week. Each class ends with 20 minutes of meditation. This workshop will run from 3 PM to 4 PM each Saturday until May 12th.  Very limited spots remain.
