The Danbury Library invites makers of all ages to two fun workshops coming up in March

March is Listening Awareness Month and to recognize that, students in 5th grade and older, can come to the library on Tuesday, March 13th, from 3:00 – 4:00pm, to make a fun and colorful emoji earbud holder. All materials are supplied and registration is required online at danburylibrary.org. 

On Tuesday, March 27th from 4:30 – 6:00pm, beading expert Joan Lloyd will bring her ever-popular earring making workshop to the Library. This workshop is open to 'tween, teens and adults and all materials are supplied. For every pair of earrings, the participants make to take home, they are asked to make a pair that will be donated to a women’s shelter.  

“Joan has amazing artistry, organization, energy, and care for others. Her earring making workshops are not to be missed and I am beyond delighted to welcome her to the Danbury Library,”  explained Deirdre Johnson, Teen Librarian.  The program is sponsored by the FRIENDS of the Danbury Library.  No registration required.
