Planning for Social Security at Danbury Library on March 22

For those old enough to be thinking about collecting Social Security, the Danbury Library is providing a "Planning for Social Security" presentation on Thursday, March 22 from 5:30-6:50pm.  The workshop will be conducted by AAA endorsed advisor Joseph Knudsen of the HIQS Group located in Bethel, CT.  

When and how individuals claim their Social Security retirement benefits is a complex decision which can substantially impact future income.  Among the topics to be covered include: how to make the decision about collecting Social Security before your full retirement age or waiting and the retirement benefits a spouse or ex-spouse may be entitled to collect.

This free workshop will help participants understand how to maximize, project, and protect their Social Security income.  The program is free of charge.  Registration is required to ensure adequate quantity of materials.  Register online atdanburylibrary.org, click on "Calendar" or call 203-797-4505, option 3.
