Health and Wellness Fair at Danbury Library on April 7

The Department of Health and Human Services and the Danbury Public Library are pleased to co-sponsor the Danbury Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, April 7th from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM. This event will take place at the Danbury Public Library located at 170 Main Street, Danbury, CT 06810.

Vendors and presenters will include: The Regional YMCA of Western CT; Danbury Community Health; Western CT Homecare; City Center Danbury; Dorothy Day Community Center; EdAdvance; Western CT Wisewoman and more.

Topics will include safety and emergency preparedness; tick awareness; food inspection Q & A; how to become a licensed day care provider; healthy minds/healthy hearts; flu prevention; volunteer opportunities; nutrition, aging-in-place, City Center Farmers’ Market and a children’s program on healthy eating and wellness.

This event is an excellent networking opportunity for professionals committed to the field of health and wellness. Therapists, researchers, outreach specialists, alternative health providers, educators and workshop leaders are all welcome. Come and mingle with Danbury's amazing health and wellness providers.

This event is free and open to the public. 

Select materials will be offered in Spanish, Portuguese and English.

There will also be a talk on Woman’s health and wellness by Wisewoman of Western CT.

Registration is not required. Parking is located in the Library’s parking lot.
