Danbury Music Centre Strings Concert to Benefit Orchestras Feeding America

The Danbury Music Centre presents the Danbury Centre Strings in its Spring Concert on April 29, at Rogers Park Middle School.  The concert is at 3:00 p.m.

This concert is part of the nationwide movement, Orchestras Feeding America 2018.  Over 360 orchestras have participated by collecting and donating nearly 500,000 pounds of food to local food banks and food assistance agencies.  Last year's concert collected over 500 pounds of food donations.  This is a testament to the power music has to feed both body and soul.  Please consider bringing a non-perishable food item for our local food pantries and soup kitchen!

DCS will be playing a wide repertoire including music by Bach, Mendelssohn, and selections from La La Land, Scheherazade, Moana and Carmen.

Danbury Centre Strings is a true community orchestra with players of all ages playing challenging, exciting music.  Come April 29th to a fun, family-oriented concert, that is sure to entertain all ages!

Admission is free.  Donations are gratefully accepted at the door.
