Mindfulness Class at Danbury Library

The popular 8 Point Mindfulness Class will commence June 30th at 10 AM at The Danbury Public Library.

This approachable, 8 week class teaches students how to meditate using passages from world literature; how to choose and use a mantram in daily living; how to increase one-pointed attention to bring better balance, attention, focus and resiliency into daily life. Summer is a great time to start a meditation practice or to refresh one's meditation practice in a group setting.

Do you want to have more energy? Do you wish to become more patient and accepting of others? While faced with stressful situations or individuals do you wish to be more "reflective" instead of "reflexive?"

This proven method of mindfulness taught throughout the United States for over 30 years, will be presented by Adult Librarian, Jodi L. Weisz, MLIS.

The Summer session of Mindfulness will take place from 10 AM to 11 AM in the Farioly Room at the Danbury Public Library located at 170 Main Street, Danbury, CT 06810. The summer session begins on June 30th and runs until August 18, 2018.

Registration is required as space is limited. Email Jodi at jweisz@danburylibrary.org or call her at: (203) 797-4505 ext. 7728.
