The Danbury Library invites chess enthusiasts of all ages and levels to a three-week long tournament, starting on Thursday, May 10th at 5:00 pm. Chess Club leader William Mattison explained that the tournament will be played according to the Swiss system, in which all players play in every round, and are paired as far as possible with opponents who have the same number of points.
The program is free of charge and open to chess players ages 10 to adults. Due to limited space, registration is required. Registration can be completed online at danburylibrary.org, click on “View Calendar” or call 203.797.4505 Ext. 7716
