Danbury Library brings NASA consultant to Danbury to wow stargazers

The Danbury Library will present “Roadmap to the Stars”, an immersive, multimedia, family-friendly presentation by Kevin Manning, one of America's best and well-known astronomers. Sky gazers of all ages are invited to join this former NASA consultant on Thursday, November 29th at 5pm as he takes the audience on a journey to learn about the beauty and harmony of the stars and planets.

Following the presentation, weather permitting, audience members will go outside to view the rings of Saturn, craters on the Moon, and other celestial sights through a powerful, handcrafted telescope created by Mr. Manning.

Mr. Manning is a gifted astronomer having won national and international awards in his field; was both a Wright Fellow and an Einstein Fellow, and did some work with Brookhaven National Laboratory.
