To celebrate the Chinese New Year, the Danbury Library will host a performance by Phoenix Performing Arts on Saturday, January 19th from 2:30 to 3:15pm. Through classical Chinese dance, colorful costumes, and traditional musical instruments, audience members will experience 5,000 years of Chinese culture.
Phoenix Performing Arts is a nonprofit organization that has conducted hundreds of shows and won numerous awards. Their art shows celebrate Chinese civilization with traditional and modern cultural dances, music, and martial arts.
