Two Right Feet Arts to conduct lively program in January at Danbury Library

The Danbury Library will host a special music and movement story time, “Twice Nice, Three Times Happy” for children ages 3 to 8 on Friday, January 18 from 10:30-11:30am. Presented by Two Right Feet Arts, the program will focus on empathy, kindness, and cooperation utilizing live music, dramatic storytelling, creative movement, and literacy activities.

After a warm-up exercise, the program will begin with a group hula-hoop activity designed to foster team-building skills, healthy communication, empathy, and giggle-fits.  A musical reading of a story will follow and the program will conclude with a band-game team exercise and a creative dance piece the children co-create.

Since its inception in 2000, Two Right Feet Arts has provided literacy, school readiness, and interactive educational reading enrichment programs for children.

Funding for the Danbury Library program is provided by the CT Humanities Book Voyagers Program and the FRIENDS of the Danbury Library.

The program is free of charge.  No registration required.  For more information contact Christine Furlo at 203-797-4505, ext. 7737 or cfurlo@danburylibrary.org.  The Danbury Library is located at 170 Main Street, Danbury, CT.
