The goal of the class, created by the National Council on Aging (NCOA) and financial supporters including Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation and Peter and Carmen Lucia Buck Foundation, is to empower older adults with the knowledge to make important decisions that will allow them to age well.

Topics of the 10 sessions include:

  1.    Navigating longer lives
  2.    Physical activity
  3.    Sleep
  4.    Healthy eating and hydration
  5.    Financial fitness
  6.    Medication management

The 10 week sessions will be held at Elmwood Hall and will launch on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 from 10:30 am to Noon and deliver 10 interactive weekly sessions with a graduation scheduled for August 20, 2019.
