Health series continues in Danbury with plan to bust the post-holiday slump

Everyone knows the routine: We intend to start the year with a new exercise program, a diet or another health-promoting activity. And then the excuses pile up. We are tired after the holidays. We’ll start next week. We have plenty of time to get in shape before summer.

In the presentation of “Resetting Your Goals after the Holidays” at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, two local holistic health professionals will help you restart your path to a healthy life.

You will learn strategies that include how to look and feel better than ever before; exhibit more energy for your family, improve your self-esteem and confidence, and protect your time by saying “no” with confidence.

The two presenters are:

  •          Wayne Leiss, a speaker, educator, licensed massage therapist in Connecticut and certified Essential Oil Coach. He has studied the use of Symphony of the Cells essential oil protocols to support healthy body system response to maintain balance and harmony. He especially enjoys sharing the benefits of dōTERRA Essential Oils and teaches numerous classes on how they can be used to enhance mood and support the body’s natural processes of healing.
  •          Dr. Shawn Carlin, owner of Evolution Chiropractic in Danbury. Carlin practices “soft and gentle” chiropractic care without the twisting, torqueing or cracking employed by many chiropractors.

The March 18 presentation will be held at Evolution Chiropractic, 19 Padanaram Road, Suite 202, Danbury. The seminars are free and open to the public. The series will continue on the third Wednesday of every month. Visitors may attend one, several or all of the classes.

Each session includes time for questions and answers. Light refreshments will be served.
