Public Health researchers and leaders, Drs. Sten Vermund and Krystal Pollitt, will offer arts organizations, venues, staff and boards science-based guidance on reopening arts venues. These state-wide convenings hosted by Shoreline Arts Alliance’s CEO, Eric Dillner, offer clarity, practical scientific advice, and an opportunity for you to ask questions related to your risk-reduction strategies.
The webinar on July 23rd will include solutions for common challenges many venues are facing. Arts Venue Directors will be given basic guidance on HVAC and offer possible approaches to take to evaluate and operate systems during these times. Examples from recent site visits will be shared. Recent site visits include Florence Griswold Museum, Mark Twain House, CT College Arboretum, New London’s waterfront stages with arts leaders from Flock Theatre, Hill-Stead Museum, and Real Art Ways. Krystal Pollitt will be joined by special guest panelist Julie Paquette, PE, LEED AP BD&C who is the Director of Engineering & Energy Management at Yale University.
