Organizers of Danbury's San Gennaro Festival announced that the 2021 Festival, planned for September 8-12, has been postponed due to ongoing health concerns.
"It is with great regret we have to announce the postponement of the San Gennaro Festival - due to reasons beyond our control and with the input from local health experts - we have decided that due to the number of people that were expected to attend this event, we feel it is in everyone's best interest to postpone until next September - We apologize and we promise next year - and every year after- will be an event that nobody will forget!" they wrote on Facebook.
The Festival promises an authentic Italian feast, complete with live music, rides, games, a laser light show, and more.
