United Way of Western Connecticut King of the Hill 5K is Virtual, Registration OPEN

United Way of Western Connecticut's annual King of the Hill 5K will be virtual again this year from Sunday, October 3 through Saturday, October 9!

Register now and get ready to run, walk or stroll to help support the United Way's many initiatives and collaboratives.

Welcome to the Virtual King of the Hill 5K! In an effort to keep our participants safe we will once again continue on a virtual platform. What that means is you can run/jog/walk anytime, anywhere beginning Sunday, October 3 through Saturday, October 9th.

There is no official starting line. Participants select their own 5K course. You'll have the ability to post your time and see how you stack up to the competition!  Join/form a corporate team and run "together."  Due to the nature of this year's race, there will be no medals or trophies.

Proceeds from this race benefit hardworking, low-income families who need help in obtaining healthy food and affordable child care. Your contributions also help individuals and families become more financially stable through budgeting workshops and savings incentive programs. All of United Way of Western Connecticut’s work focuses on local struggling families called ALICE® (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed).

Additional race information can be found at http://www.uwwesternct.org/kingofthehill.
