As the summer days shorten and the fall begins, fans of winter sports begin to think about snow and the coming snow sports season. The Danbury Ski Club will host its annual Fall Family Picnic on Saturday, September 25th from 12 Noon to 5PM at Dickinson Park Pavilion, 50 Elm Drive, Newtown CT.
The event is open to both members and prospective members who want to learn more about ski & boarding, snow sports, the Danbury Ski Club, and trips that we offer to members.
The Danbury Ski Club (DSC) was founded in 1955 and has been a member of the Connecticut Ski Council (CSC) since 1956. DSC members participate in downhill, cross-country, and telemark skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and many other outdoor activities such as hiking, bicycling, SCUBA diving, kayaking, whitewater rafting and more.
