WCSU Homecoming 2022 on Saturday, September 24

Western Connecticut State University will host its Homecoming 2022 on Saturday, Sept. 24, from noon – 5 p.m. at its Westside campus on 43 Lake Ave. Extension, Danbury, where it will introduce the new WCSU Wolves branding to alumni and the community.

The day-long event features many activities geared to alumni, current students and families, and culminates with the WestConn Wolves football team taking on Bridgewater State University at 5 p.m. in the Westside Athletic Complex. The public is invited to attend; tickets for the football game will be for sale at the stadium.

Serving as a centerpiece, the WCSU Reunion City tent will host tables representing various special class, club and athletic team reunion groups, including the Class of 1972 50th Reunion and class-by-decades ’82, ’92, ’02 and ’12. There will be carnival food for alumni and students, six food trucks for those wishing to purchase a variety of foods and treats, and live entertainment, face painters, balloonists, magic show, jumpy house, crafts, games and so much more for everyone.

Prior to the football game there will be a tailgating experience including a cornhole tournament and other unique activities. To reserve a tailgating spot for $30, $40 for premium spot or two spots for $50, or a free table in Reunion City, contact Director of Alumni Relations Tom Crucitti at crucittit@wcsu.edu or go to www.wcsu.edu/homecoming.
