Construction to begin Feb. 5 on Route 37 in Danbury

The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced that construction activity will begin on Route 37 in Danbury, between Stacey and Barnum Roads, starting February 5, 2018.

The project realigns a section of Route 37 to increase visibility and will include adding a traffic signal at Stacey Road. Construction will be performed in four stages.

DOT Project No. 34-305/345 was awarded to Mastrobattisto, Inc. at a cost of $4,023,059.25 on 11/17/2017 and is scheduled to be completed 10/23/2019.

Expect delays on Route 37, Stacey Road, and Barnum Road, between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm.
