Flu Shots in Danbury
The Department of Health and Human Services offers various flu vaccinations for persons 6 months and older.
A description of the various vaccinations and who they are recommended for:
- Quadrivalent: Recommended for people 6 months and older
- High-Dose: Recommended for adults 65 years and older.
- Flublok: Recommended for adults 18 years and older; for adults with an egg allergy; adults who are immuno-compromised.
Pricing:
$0 copay with most insurance companies. Uninsured children under 18 years of age are free.
Quadrivalent: $30
High-Dose: $65
Flublok: $65
It is the patient’s responsibility to pay any balance off of the vaccination fee(s) if their respective insurance company does not cover the fee. The Department of Health and Human Services reserves the right to bill any patient whose insurance does not fully cover the cost of the vaccination (s).
