Danbury Author Talks Robot Attitude and Supports Habitat for Humanity

This past Wednesday, October 9, Danbury resident John Patrick hosted a "Meet the Author” event in The Sapphire Room at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. This community event had a philanthropic twist, all book sales benefited Housatonic Habitat for Humanity, a great organization that builds affordable homes for qualified families.

Seventy-five people were in attendance and learned about Patrick's new book, Robot Attitude: How Robots and Artificial Intelligence Will Make Our Lives Better as well as other books in his series called “It’s All About Attitude”.

"All of the proceeds were donated to Habitat. Practical Robotic Services, Microsoft, and the nationally acclaimed League of Extraordinary Roboticists were there and educated all of us about robots," Patrick remarked. "Thanks to all for a great night in support of Habitat," he added.

The photos here were taken at the event. Check out robotattitude.info for Patrick's robot videos.

Meet the Author events will be held during the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2019 and the 1st quarter of 2020.
