Danbury’s Health and Human Services Dept. Launch Campaign Asking Residents to ‘Do Their Part’
The Danbury Health and Human Services Department has launched a trilingual campaign asking residents to do their part to mitigate the resurgence of COVID-19 infections within our community.
Danbury is experiencing an increase of COVID-19 infections, and reported 1,312 new positive cases for the month of November. Connecticut with a population of almost 3.5 million, has administered over 3.25 million tests to date, and has reported 121,426 positive COVID-19 cases this year.
#DoYourPartDanbury reminds residents to wear their masks in public, avoid gatherings where social distancing is not possible, and get tested for COVID-19. The Danbury Health and Human Services Department wants to encourage residents to utilize the free COVID-19 testing opportunities offered by the Connecticut Institute for Communities and the Community Health Center, Inc. The office will continue to post informational messaging regarding COVID-19 safety, and guidance on state and local mandates, to the Health Department Facebook Page.
