Eversource Gas is currently replacing a segment of the old gas main on West Street between New Street and Harmony Street, starting June 13, 2021.
To minimize the impact to traffic flow on West Street during the daytime and during peak hours the City has limited the hours of
construction work to 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, and required West Street to be reopened (four travel lanes) at 6:00 AM each morning. During the nighttime work periods one travel lane in each direction shall be provided and Danbury Police Officers will direct the traffic.
On-street parking will be limited during construction but Eversource will provide access to all adjacent properties at all times.
