Mayor Dean Esposito Announces 2022 Summer Camp partnership with The Danbury Sports Dome

Today, Mayor Dean Esposito and the City of Danbury have announced a partnership with the Danbury Sports Dome for this year’s summer camp program. This new approach was a top priority for the Esposito administration to enhance and expand the summer camp offerings for our city’s youth.

The Mayor said, "I want to thank the Danbury Sports Dome for partnering with the City of Danbury to give our children an enhanced and expanded summer camp offering this year. Now more than ever, we must provide the vital resources for our children to excel, and this approach will take our summer camps to the next level. Sports provide an excellent training in leadership and teamwork that is needed to create a strong foundation in every child’s life.”

The summer camp program is limited to 250 campers per week on a first come, first served basis. Each child must be a resident of Danbury to register. Sign-ups can be for single or multiple weeks. The program is for 1st grade through 8 th grade and costs $100 dollars per week per camper.
