This Week in the City, Mayor Dean Esposito is joined by the City of Danbury Health and Human Services Department to discuss health inspections.
Health inspectors play a vital role in keeping our city and residents safe. Our health inspectors visit food service establishments and other businesses throughout the year to ensure their practices are in line with the city’s high standards of safety. Health inspectors also review septic plan repairs and new installations, environmental and housing complaints, and conduct waterways testing to protect our residential communities.
The 2023-2024 budget includes increased funding for public health and safety.
