Ryan James Bishop, 2017 grad of Danbury High School, cashier at Bethel's Big Y, has died

Ryan James Bishop, 18, of Danbury, son of Timothy J. and Janet L. (Morabito), died on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Danbury Hospital.

Ryan was born in Danbury, September 20, 1999, attended Danbury schools and graduated from Danbury High School with the Class of 2017.
A lifelong Danbury resident, Ryan was a cashier at the Big Y of Bethel.

He enjoyed video games, animals, his cats and hanging out with his friends.

Ryan was a member of the Congregational Church of New Fairfield.

In addition to his parents, Tim and Janet of Danbury, he is survived by a sister, Jamie L. Bishop and three brothers, Timothy J. Bishop II, David J. Bishop and Christopher J. Bishop all of Danbury; His maternal grandfather, Peter Morabito; his high school guardian angel Yvonne Czado; his best friends, Matthew Pierce and Noah Clark as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Bessie M. Morabito and by his paternal grandparents, Edward and Louise Saviano Bishop.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Avenue (between White and Osborne Sts.) Danbury.

Interment will follow in Pembroke Cemetery, Danbury.

The family will receive friends in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
