Due to the resignation of Richard Hawley, a member of the Republican Party, there is a vacancy on the Board of Education.

This term of office will be until the next regular election in November 2019.
Residents must be at least 18 years old and a United States Citizen. It is not required that candidates apply to the political party for this appointment but since candidates are expected to run in November 2019, it would be beneficial.
