Longtime Danbury Resident, Doris A. Doyle, 70, has Died

Doris A. Doyle, 70, of Danbury, died on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Glen Hill Center.

A former resident of Crosby Manor, Danbury, Doris was born in the Bronx, NY, January 20, 1948, the daughter of the late William G. and Rose (Trzcinska) Burgess.

She attended Bronx schools and graduated from James Monroe High School. A Danbury resident for the past thirty years coming from Westchester County, NY, Mrs. Doyle was a retired health care agency companion and homemaker, attended St. Peter Church and enjoyed being a member of the Crosby Manor Coffee Group.

She is survived by a son Michael E. Doyle of Delray Beach, FL; a brother Victor J. Burgess and his wife Patricia of Ridgefield, CT; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services and burial will take place on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. in Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY with Fr. Thomas Collins officiating.

There will be no calling hours.
