Martha A. O’Brien

Martha (nee Glew) O’Brien, 73, of Danbury, CT, a formerly of Yonkers, NY, died on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

She was the wife of Patrick J. O’Brien.

Mrs. O’Brien was born in Yonkers, NY, March 3, 1946, daughter of the late Alfred and Jean (nee Colucci) Glew, attended Yonkers schools and resided in Yonkers until 1985 when she and her husband Pat moved to Danbury.

She was a communicant of St. Joseph R.C. Church of Danbury and was a great lover of pets; most especially dogs and cats.

In addition to her husband of fifty years, Mrs. O’Brien is survived by a brother, Robert Glew and his wife Linda of Rye, NY and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph R.C. Church, 380 Main St., Danbury, CT.

Entombment will follow in Wooster Cemetery, Danbury.
