Danbury PD to Launch Recruitment Campaign with New Video

City of Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton and Chief of Police Patrick Ridenhour will host a press conference on Monday, October 7th at 2:30 p.m. at the Danbury Police Department, detailing the upcoming City of Danbury Police Recruitment Campaign with information about the recruitment process as well as the release of a new video produced by RmediA.

Just two years ago, the City of Danbury Police Department went viral after launching a fun and creative recruitment video that has since received nearly 133 thousand views on Facebook and YouTube. The video was also recognized in 2017 on PoliceOne.com as a recruitment video that thinks outside the box. The positive feedback led to us receiving over 500 police officer applications.

This event is open to the public. Anyone interested in becoming a City of Danbury Police Officer is encouraged to attend. More information on the recruitment process will be available during the event and on this webpage: danbury-ct.gov/recruitment
