The Federal government has released financial support to help small businesses during these unprecedented times. Below is a list of programs and resources to consider.
 
  • Connecticut's Department of Economic and Community Development's website (CT DECD) has gathered resources to help Connecticut's small business community.
  • For businesses with under 500 employees, sole proprietors, independent contractors, private non-profits, all meeting disaster criteria, consider SBA's Economic Injury Disaster Loan Assistance: An emergency $10,000 cash advance grant is available , apply today!
  • For businesses with under 500 employees, sole proprietors (with or without employees), independent contractors, other self employed, non-profits (501)c)(3) & 501(c)(19), all meeting disaster criteria, consider Paycheck Protection Program Loans.
  • The "The Small Business Owner’s Guide to the CARES Act" is a detailed document which summarizes the various business financial support programs
  • Connecticut's Small Business Development Center, CT SBDC, offers FREE, confidential business advising to help business owners navigate the various COVID-19 programs. Sign up on their website and a business adviser will contact you ASAP.
  • The Danbury Chamber is hosting weekly webinars to help answer questions and provide strategies to local business owners.
  • The City of Danbury's website has business information to assist you as well.
