Community is not Canceled: Wooster Rainbow Connection Project Inspires School Families During Social Isolation

Community is not Canceled

Neighbors helping neighbors, community members reaching out to our local senior citizens, residents supporting our heroic first responders -the inspiring stories and acts of kindness brought forth by our current crisis are extraordinary. What's more, small businesses, local nonprofits, and civic organizations are innovating to stay connected and serve the community.

Community is not Canceled, a series made possible by LIFEWTR will showcase Connecticut's awesome response to this unprecedented situation. We are in this together. Stay strong.

Wooster Rainbow Connection Project Connects School Families During Social Isolation

Community Time at Wooster is a chance for all of us to take some time as members of the Wooster community to take a breath, to find ways to appreciate our membership in this and the larger community of humanity, and to perhaps provide some positivity to each.

Children and adults around the world are creating rainbows and displaying them in the windows of their homes, inspiring hope, light, and joy through this journey that we are all on together.

You and your family, as well as all Wooster students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate in the Wooster Rainbow Connection Project by creating your own rainbow to share with the Wooster community as well as your own community at home!

Here is one to get you started, courtesy of the Cerulli family!

Share your colorful creation on the Wooster School Facebook Page.

Community is not Canceled! We are thankful to LIFEWTR for helping us to connect and stay strong.
