Danbury Mayor Mark Thanks Glen Hill Center Staff for Caring for Veterans and Seniors

Due to the spread of COVID-19, the City of Danbury's annual Veteran's Day ceremony at the War Memorial is canceled. But, that didn't stop Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton from paying tribute to our local veterans. Boughton stopped by Glen Hill Center in Danbury to thank the staff for caring for our Veterans and seniors. "They are angels among us," Mayor Mark said.

Veterans Day, November 11, 2020, was celebrated on the heels of the 245th birthday of the United States Marine Corps., People all over the country joined in solidarity to honor those (locally and globally) who gave their lives for our freedom.

Thank you to America’s 21,700,000 veterans. Freedom isn't free.
