Simone Prodoti’s Photograph Selected by ASAP! 10th Annual Celebration of Young Photographers

Congratulations to Wooster School 9th grader, Simone Prodoti of Ridgefield, CT. Art students were invited to participate in ASAP! 10th Annual Celebration of Young Photographers, which provides students in grades 6-12 the opportunity to participate in a large scale professional art exhibition and juried show. Simone’s submission was selected to be a part of the exhibit. Out of over 200 entries in the state, only 60 were included in the exhibit, quite an honorable achievement for Simone!

Students in grades 6-12 were invited to submit up to two photographs based on this year's theme of “Quarantined,” which was selected to inspire students to focus on images that represent their unique perspective on this unprecedented time in the world.

Join the livestream event on Sunday, December 6 at 4:00 pm, where the top 60 selected photos will be recognized, and the top 4 honorees will be revealed during the live event. The top 2 photographers from middle and high school will receive the 2020 Dylan’s Wings Photography Award, this award is presented by Ian Hockley, Executive Director of Dylan’s Wings for Change, to the photographer whose piece most thoroughly embodies the criteria.

The event will also include a special message from Thomas Rose, Professional Artist, and Educator with commentary from the panel of judges. Viewers will have the chance to vote for a photograph that will be revealed as the Viewers Choice during the live event!

The top 60 photographs will be available to purchase from Still River Editions, in Danbury, now through January 6, 2021.

Congratulations Simone! Be sure to join the ASAP! YouTube Channel for the Livestream Event on December 6th!
