John Tucci, 82, of Danbury, U.S. Army Veteran, has Died

John Tucci, 82, of Danbury, husband of Frances (Colandro) Tucci, died on Friday, January 15, 2021, at the Regional Hospice of Danbury.

Mr. Tucci was born in Port Chester, NY, on October 21, 1938, a son of the late Frank and Anna (Santoro) Tucci. He attended Port Chester schools and graduated from Port Chester High School.

A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Tucci was a mason-bricklayer by trade and was a 50-year member of the Bricklayer and Allied Craftworkers Union. A resident of Danbury for the past forty-five years coming from Westchester County, NY, he was also a member of the Catholic War Veterans (CWV of Danbury). He was predeceased by his daughter, Deanna Tucci.

In addition to his wife Fran of sixty years, he is survived by a son, Michael Tucci and his wife Laura of Southbury, a daughter, Suzanne McNally and her husband Brian of Danbury, his twin brother Dominick Tucci and his wife Beverly of Naples, FL, five grandchildren, Sondra, Paul, Katie, Kelly, and Megan and three great-grandchildren, Jackson, Colin and Ava Fran.

Due to the concerns facing us all at this time regarding social gatherings, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Contributions in Mr. Tucci’s memory may be made to Regional Hospice and Palliative Care of Western CT, 30 Milestone Rd., Danbury, CT 06810.
