Savings Bank of Danbury is pleased to announce that Rochelle Abalos, Assistant Vice President Information Management and Electronic Banking, graduated from the two-year Connecticut Bankers Association (CBA) Connecticut School of Finance and Management (CSFM) program.
The CBA announced that fifty-three students in the Connecticut School of Finance & Management's Class of 2020 graduated, the first class to graduate virtually. CSFM is the premiere management training program offered by the Association. The ceremony, which was witnessed by over one hundred seventy business associates, family members and friends, was held via Zoom. There are now over 2,700 individuals who have successfully completed the program requirements and received their CSFM certificates in the 58-year history of the program.
A 25 year veteran of the banking industry Abalos joined Savings Bank of Danbury 3 years ago. She earned her degree in Computer Science from Marshall University. She volunteers her time with the Danbury Schools and Business Collaboration’s mentoring program and Hudson River Housing. A resident of Poughkeepsie, NY, she enjoys spending time with her family, including a busy 4-year-old, and playing volleyball and hiking.
“We congratulate Rochelle on this important achievement in her career,” said Savings Bank of Danbury’s President and CEO Martin G. Morgado. “Her dedication and hard work will enhance her career and provide knowledge and support to our organization. On behalf of all officers and employees at the Savings Bank of Danbury we are proud of her accomplishment.”
