Danbury Student and Business Connection 2022 scholarship recipients to be announced on June 2 at End of Year Breakfast

Danbury Student and Business Connection (DSABC) will be honoring graduating mentors from the Danbury Public Schools and Henry Abbott Technical School at its annual End of Year Breakfast on June 2, 2022, 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM at the Amber Room Colonnade.

DSABC has identified 8 eligible seniors to receive a scholarship award of $1,000 per year of attendance (up to 4 years in total) at a higher education institution or trade program. The scholarship program, founded in 1997, has presented over $362,000 in scholarships to 214 students. The initiative seeks to support Danbury seniors who have matriculated through DSABC programming and are seeking higher education or programs to advance their career goals.

Members of the community interested in mentoring with the Danbury Public Schools can enjoy breakfast at no cost, to hear first-hand experiences about DSABC’s mentoring program. To RSVP, please email Susan Queenan, queens@danbury.k12.ct.us by May 24, 2022.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for individuals or companies in the area. Businesses can sponsor a table of 10 for $400 to receive company recognition throughout the event. Or DSABC will receive donations of $50 to sponsor the attendance of scholarship recipients.
