More than 1,000 costumed children gather for CityCenter Danbury's 30th annual Halloween on the Green!

CityCenter Danbury is pleased to announce that the 30^th Annual “Halloween on the Green 2022” was a great success!  On Saturday, October 29^th, over 1,000 costumed children and their family members gathered on the Ives Street Green and enjoyed a festive afternoon celebrating Halloween with a wide variety of fun-filled activities that delighted the crowd!

Henry Ford once said: “Coming together is a beginning.  Keeping together is progress.  Working together is success.”  CityCenter’s Halloween event pays homage to this.  With the enthusiastic and generous support from local businesses, organizations and individuals, this event helped to once again bring joy and happiness to downtown Danbury. 

Lazaro Chavez, CityCenter Manager stated, “I felt a tremendous sense of gratitude in seeing everyone on the Danbury Ives Street Green, full of smiles and such positive energy!  Downtown Danbury is so rich in diversity, and to see our community come together to enjoy this spirited event is what this gem of a city is all about.  It was great to see Downtown Danbury shine bright today!!!”
