Services planned for Danbury native, Abbott Tech grad, Victor F. Cunha, 44

Victor F. Cunha, 44, of Eastchester, formerly of Harrison and Danbury, passed away unexpectedly on November 6, 2022.

Victor was born on March 1, 1978, in Danbury, CT, the son of Jose and Cristina Cunha. Vic grew up in Danbury, and graduated from Henry Abbott Tech.

A resident of Eastchester since 2013, Vic was recently employed in IT for Sound Phase, Inc. of Danbury. He also worked as a network engineer for Interactive Data of White Plains.

In his spare time, Vic loved technology and video games, especially the Super Mario Bros. series. As an avid gamer, he loved to collect video game memorabilia. He also had a passion for anything tech related and was the go-to guy for his family, friends' and coworkers' technical needs. He loved to help everyone with anything they needed without a second thought.

He was also the world's greatest uncle and loved to spend time with his nieces and nephew. He was like a second father to the son of his girlfriend, Tina, who liked to joke that he liked Vic better than her. Vic loved to make people laugh and always tried to make everyone happy. He could come up with the wittiest joke at the drop of a dime. Victor will continue to stay with us all through memories and the laughs. He will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Victor is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Tina Sandoval and her son, Luis. Victor is also survived by his beloved parents, Jose and Cristina Cunha; his sisters, Isabel Lobo and her husband, Acacio, and Suzana Pais and her husband, Rui. In addition, Victor is survived by his nieces and nephew: Jessica Ferreira and her husband, Steve, Mariza Lobo, Christopher Pais and Emily Pais as well as his grandnieces, Brianna and Elliana Ferreira.
