More than 300 Eastern Connecticut State University students were recognized for scholarly excellence at the conclusion of the spring 2023 semester. Given by academic departments across the University, the recognitions included induction into more than a dozen academic honor societies, scholarship awards and departmental distinctions.
Among those honored was Brendan Cubberly of Danbury, a senior who majors in Mathematics. Cubberly was honored at the Lavender Graduation award ceremony on April 14 for their academic achievements.
"Lavender Graduation was a heart-filled evening of celebration, acknowledgment, and community building," said Nicole Potestivo, coordinator of the Pride Center. "We honored the academic achievements, accomplishments, and the perseverance of the graduating seniors."
