The City of Danbury is hosting an in-person public workshop on Thursday, December 2 from 6 to 8pm to hear from the public on how the City should manage growth, make investments, and improve the quality of life for its residents. The workshop is part of the public engagement process for updating to the City’s Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD) effort.
Location: Palace Theater, 165 Main Street, Danbury
Residents, employees, students, and travelers should consider attending the workshop to share their ideas on:

A POCD is a municipal guide for managing growth and conserving resources. As required by State statutes, the City’s Planning Commission is responsible for updating the POCD every ten years. The POCD was last updated in 2013. The POCD will address multiple issues related to stewardship of the City and provides a foundation for City policy, capital investment, and zoning regulations.
