City of Danbury 2022 Revaluation

The City of Danbury is engaged in a State-Mandated property Revaluation to establish updated real estate assessments for the October 1, 2022 Grand List.  The City has contracted with eQuality Valuation Services, LLC a Certified Revaluation Company, to assist the Assessor in completing the Revaluation project.

eQuality will be sending data mailers to all residential properties in December 2021 which will list details such as style of house, room count, and special features.  The accuracy of the data is vital to the integrity and uniformity of the assessments; therefore, we are offering a few different options for you to provide us with the necessary information for your property.

Option 1. – Submit your data mailer online using the Identification Code provided

on your letter (preferred method) or;

Option 2. – Complete the form and make any changes as necessary and then sign and date where indicated and return the form to eQuality directly or;

Option 3. – Complete the form and make any changes as necessary and then sign and date where indicated and return the form to the Assessor’s Office

If an owner requests a call back on the returned data mailer, these calls will be made to the owner’s number provided and can be handled virtually.

In addition to verifying data, we will be using this process as an opportunity to update the photo associated with your property.  If you would like to provide your own updated photo, please email the photo to equalitydanbury@gmail.com.  Be sure to provide your name and address.  Photos should be of the front of your home with no person(s) or advertisements displayed.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Assessor’s Office at 203-797-4556.
