Mindfulness Class Returns to the Danbury Public Library!

The Danbury Public Library's 8 Point Mindfulness Class begins on June 30, 2018 at 10 AM in the Farioly Program Room. Each week, one of eight "points" is introduced. Students will learn how to meditate and how to select and use a mantram to increase concentration. Each class ends with 20 minutes of passage meditation.

"Memory is such an important skill," notes Adult Librarian Jodi Weisz, MLIS who has taught this workshop-style class to hundreds of students. "I hear from so many folks who wish to improve their memory and concentration. This class teaches a style of meditation that helps individuals vastly improve both. The benefit of meditation increases daily. Meditation makes a positive impact on one's daily life, work relationships and personal goals. I love watching and seeing the progress and benefits my students' achieve through meditation.  It is such an honor."

No experience is necessary. This class is free and open to the public. Registration is required so Ms. Jodi L. Weisz can prepare handouts and information for workshop attendees.

To register, please call (203) 797-4505 ext. 7728 or email Jodi at: jweisz@danburylibrary.org
