Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT Power Nutrition!

Three questions with Monika Nowak, owner of Power Nutrition!

Why did you start your business?

I started Power Nutrition to help people break the cycle of yo-yo dieting.

As a food-obsessor and a sugar addict, I wanted to find a sustainable way to live a healthy, fit & joyful life without having to resort to using restrictive diets or counting points. I don't sell supplements, detoxes, or quick fixes. My approach is based on building healthy eating habits that are realistic and sustainable for your specific health & fitness needs.

Finish this sentence in regard to your business. “I wish I could…”

I wish I could help more people. I’m always working on trying to help as many people as possible through online, FaceTime/Skype, call and face to face consultations but also ongoing education via my weekly Newsletter, private Facebook group and social media outreach.
