Danbury Library in March: Books, Leprechauns, Crafts and More!

There is a lot of activities planned for children at the Danbury Library in March! 

A new "Young Readers Book Club" series for those in grades 1-3 will be offered monthly on March 12, April 16 and May 14 from 4:00-5:00 p.m.  Paperback books will be provided to the children to read in advance of each session. Following the discussions facilitated by the Library's children's programmer, a game, activity or craft will follow.  Registration is required.  

All children ages 4-10 years old are invited to a "Little Leprechauns" storytime and craft on Saturday, March 16.  Children may drop in anytime between 11:30 a.m. to 1: 30 p.m.  Children will listen to stories, do a little dancing and make some crafts with middle school students from the Excel Program at Western CT State University. Registration is required.

The Spring session of the Danbury Library's popular storytimes will begin on Tuesday, March 19th.  "Tiny Tots" storytimes for ages 3 to 24 months will be held on Tuesdays, March 19-May 28.  Each new Tiny Tot participant will receive a Danbury Library special edition snack cup. For those children ages 2 and 3, a "Terrific Toddlers" storytimes will be held on Thursdays from March 21 - May 30. Children and parents may drop into as many sessions as they like, there is no registration.
