You're IT TechCare, LLC!

Three questions with TechCare owner, Jennifer DeRosa

Why did you start your business?

My business began as a hobby and grew into a full-time thriving business.  In 1994, I was selling wine by day and I decided to take an HTML class at night at Providence College - for fun. I built my first website for my aunts and uncles and grandparents, so we could all keep up with what one another was doing (this was the days of paid long distance calls!).  As time went on, people realized the Internet was really here and that if they wanted to grow their business, they needed a presence online. Today, most business owners are looking for a website to perform: meaning bringing in leads, providing useful information, selling product and service streamlining processes, etc.

Finish this sentence in regard to your business: I wish I could...

I wish I could get all of my clients to the #1 spot on google and keep them there!  This is what we are striving to do, but it takes a business owner desire to want to be at that number one spot, and to realize that it is not magic and does not happen all by itself. Each small business has so much competition and your competition is probably doing all the steps needed to get to number one!  There are specific things we can do for our customers when they are ready!

Best selling product or service?

Our best-selling services have typically been websites in the past, but we are seeing an increase in our SEO services and slowly but surely, Social Media services.  Small businesses are behind in these areas because they typically don’t have the time to manage a lot of accounts and create a lot of content and they wouldn’t necessarily know how to push this content out effectively!  This is where we step in! When a small business is ready to make that commitment we are here ready to help them grow their business in new ways.
