Why Small Businesses Matter
Shop small, do big things for your community
Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!
You're IT A&B Spa Boutique!
Four questions with Bianca Leite, owner of A&B Spa Boutique.
Why did you start your business?
A & B Spa Boutique is the story of two friends with a big dream to create a unique, sophisticated and fun space for women and men to come and relax while getting their beauty services done.
We started off independently, Ana a hairdresser and Bianca an esthetician. We decided to join forces last year and have been working tirelessly to give our loyal and future customers a different experience.
Together, we created A & B Spa Boutique, here you will be able to relax your body, mind and soul all while being taken care of by us.
Finish this sentence in regard to your business: I wish I could...
I wish I could become more involved in social services work. We have a dream of working with the Women’s Center [in Danbury] - we've had this project in mind since we opened!
Best selling product or service?
We have a variety of services we offer. Our spa delivers from nail care, hair and skincare. From each area, we have gel extensions, Brazilian blowouts, and full body waxing.
How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?
Being that the two of us are from Danbury, we tend to use a lot of local businesses. We shop a lot at PadaMinas on Newtown Road. Our clients love their delicious cheese bread and cakes that we offer on the weekends. We also use Seneca Business Services on Main Street for our tax needs.
We would like to nominate PadaMinas, they are located on Newtown Road.
A&B Spa Boutique is located at 18 Great Plain Road, Unit 5 in Danbury.
