Three questions with Courtney Lewis, founder, and owner of Courtney Lewis Photography

Why did you start your business?

My business started as a hobby/side hustle. I’ve always enjoyed photography and dabbled in many genres. I began freelancing for the local paper and discovered that I enjoyed capturing people and being able to tell a story through portraits. From there I decided to start capturing families as family images were always something I cherished personally as my family has always enjoyed documenting our time together via photos.

Finish this sentence in regard to your business. “I wish I could…”

I wish I could use my photography to give back! I’m always looking for new ways to give back to my community using my craft.

What is your best selling product/service?

My best selling product/service is my standard portrait package. It’s an affordable investment anyone can make to capture memorable images of their families.
