Charter Oak has innovated during this crisis and has found ourselves selling more package beer, growlers of beer from our vast selection of draft beers, and kegs for the kegerator. In fact, we’ve had to continue our brewing and packaging to keep up with demand.
Charter Oak got out in front of the COVID-19 challenge early and dramatically slowed down packaging our craft beers in kegs (for bars and restaurant locations) in favor of cans for our taproom customers as well as local liquor stores.
We now offer delivery to Danbury and select nearby towns, including much of Ridgefield.
Once the stay in place shelter model was announced, we closed our taproom and sold our beers under a new model “Grab and Go” curbside - cans, growlers, and kegs.
The support for a local craft brewery such as Charter Oak has been unreal and we offer our appreciation to our loyal customers.
To say "thank you" we recently donated a complete brew of a Double IPA to a local distillery and the funds raised will go toward a COVID-19 Relief fund and offered beer to the Danbury Hospital staff!
