The Women's Center had been hopeful to begin our phased-in return to work on-site approach beginning June 1st, but physical changes being implemented within our headquarters building to enhance everyone's safety will not be completed by that date. As it stands right now, we will not reopen before June 22nd.
The Center has created a 3-Phase approach for our return, following the guidance of state and local requirements and recommendations. Very specific protocols were created for each of the three phases (social distancing guidelines, mail/package deliveries, client/staff procedures). As you know, this is quite a fluid situation and makes identifying an exact date challenging at best. We will continue to update you all as the reopening of Connecticut unfolds, and how that may impact our new target date. Until then, we remain available virtually 24/7 for anyone needing our vital domestic and sexual violence services.
