What do you want the community to know? Are there ways for the community to help you and other local businesses to prosper?
Each of our suites is independently owned by an entrepreneurial salon professional. When you visit them, not only are you getting service from a highly competent provider, but you’re also supporting a local small business owner.
Are there certain individuals or organizations that supported you and your business through this trying time?
For our suite owners, the pandemic was a very trying time. Unlike restaurants and certain retail that could still operate on a curbside basis, their business was completely shut down for 10+ weeks. Since they are self-employed, their options for support from the PPP program and unemployment were complicated and subject to significant delays. It’s been tough for them but they all persevered and did everything possible to be able to open up the first possible day they could, and they’re eager to see their clients both old and new!
While personal care is inherently an in-person endeavor, each of our salon owners is taking extraordinary precautions to maintain the health and safety of their clients, often well beyond what is mandated by the state or city. Because each suite is private and only one client at a time is seen, it’s a much safer experience than a traditional open floor plan salon, and it's easier to sanitize and disinfect the suite in between each client visit. The common areas are cleaned hourly and no one is allowed in until their professional is ready for them. We’ve also set up dedicated handwash stations for clients to wash and sanitize their hands prior to and after their appointment.
